Join SUA6

This year saw record breaking numbers joining us at SUA6 and I am proud of the work of all involved, staff,
support and above all the students themselves.

After a tough year for all in 2020-21, it is only right that the individual student remains at the centre of everything we do, not just to ensure academic success but also to support, develop and grow the person. This year as part of our provision all students have access to a well-being hour on timetable; a chance for students to leave their studies and focus on mental and/or physical wellbeing, whether that be through sports & fitness, documentaries, arts & crafts, reading or yoga & meditation.

We believe here at SUA6 that successful outcomes are a much greater deal than results day; we are creating
well rounded individuals that will be successful in the outside world. This means aiming well passed our subject
knowledge to encapsulate a greater understanding of the wider world. Through the weekly Great Conversation
programme, we bring the outside in and allow students to debate issues of the day, preparing them for
conversations in university lecture theatres, in corridors of power and the workplace.

Ending your seven-year journey with us at SUA6 is an act of future-proofing yourself, matching that academic
success with the accumulation of tools needed to be a success in whatever your next steps may be.
