Children in Need 17/11/2017

13th November 2017

SUA are proud to be supporting BBC Children in Need which take place on 17th November 2017.  In order to support the fundraising the Academy Student Council have asked students to attend the academy on Friday 17th November, dressed either in an item of yellow, spots or a Children in Need themed piece of clothing (t-shirt, Pudsey ears etc) for a donation of £1.

The Academy Student Council have challenged each tutor group to raise at least £35, by holding a range of activities, games and stalls as well as non-school uniform.

Last year the fundraising for Children in Need was a huge success and Pudsey Bear himself visited the academy to show his gratitude for all the fantastic efforts at SUA.

Curriculum lessons will take place as normal, however students will be hosting a range of fundraising events in the hall at both break and lunchtime.

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership.  The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support.  In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
