At SUA we believe our students deserve the greatest teaching and learning experience. Many of our students come from disadvantaged backgrounds and therefore need to be inspired, motivated and thought-provoked into becoming curious and independent learners.

At KS3 lessons will focus on mastery through learning that is purposeful, creative and provokes curiosity. Learners should leave school mentally exhausted by the passion that has been bestowed upon from our teaching.

At KS4 currency is king. Students will continue to be taught through the pillars of mastery and now be able to apply their curious minds and thirst for learning into the challenges of qualifications. We will not become an exam factory. We will become a school that is relentlessly focused on making our students lifelong learners.
