Staffordshire University Academy endeavours to offer a fully inclusive curriculum package for all of cour learners which is revised on an annual basis to reflect changes which are nationally occuring.

Students in years 7 to 9 follow a curriculum of English, maths, science, geography, history, French, Spanish, global values, art, catering, citizenship, computer science, drama, design technology, music, PE and religious education. During the summer term of year 9, SUA hosts an information evening to discuss suitable pathways for students as they move into key stage 4.

Students in years 10 and 11 follow a tailored curriculum, with core subjects as English, maths, science, PE, global values and study skills. They then have the option to pick pathways subjects which are detailed in our Curriculum Overview document.

Sixth Form students are offered a broad selection of courses, which are also reviewed annually and updated in our Sixth Form prospectus. There are a combination of vocational and academic level three qualifications, which can be found in our Curriculum Overview document.

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership.  The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support.  In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
