An apprenticeship with us is about lots of things. An unforgettable learning experience. A kick-start to a rewarding career. An opportunity to work with - and grow alongside - diverse, creative, ambitious people.

This is your chance to have a role that matters. You’ll start your career with one of the nation’s biggest banks, helping Britain prosper. We offer incredible support and development opportunities that are tailored to match your interests. What’s more, the work you do will make a real difference.

Taking on a role with real responsibility, you’ll develop a wealth of skills and experience through a mixture of formal and on-the-job training. You will also gain a recognised professional qualification at no cost to you. Our apprenticeships start at intermediate level, and go all the way up to degree level, should you want to. All of our Apprentices are offered a permanent role, full pay and benefits and respected UK qualifications. We’re the UK’s biggest bank, with millions of customers and a presence in almost every community. We’ve got brands with a long and proud history, like Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland. What’s more, we’re always looking to the future - we were the first bank to talk to customers through Twitter and YouTube. In everything we do, we put customers first, keep things simple and make a difference together.

We offer a broad variety of apprenticeships across five job families:

Customer Facing is about the relationships we build with individual and corporate customers and local communities.

Financial Management is about controlling the details and managing changes across our big and complex business.

Business Management is about the processes, systems and designs behind our processes and products – the support network for our customers.

Innovation Technology is about the cutting edge technology that helps our business work smarter for customers.

People Strategy is about creating great experiences and strengthening relationships with our customers and our people.

As well as the wide range of development opportunities available throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll enjoy your choice of discounted financial products and a generous pension scheme.

We are pleased to announce the following scholarship opportunity is now open to school leavers with beginner through advanced ski and/or snowboard ability.

EA offer Ski & Snowboard Instructor Internship Programs at top ski resorts around the world. Our programs are popular with school leavers because they provide an opportunity to obtain paid employment at a top resort, whilst completing an internationally recognised ski or snowboard instructing qualification. This is the fourth year EA Ski & Snowboard have offered a scholarship place. The winner will receive a free place on an EA program for the coming 2015-16 Northern Hemisphere winter season at one of our partner resorts around the globe… that could mean Canada, USA, Japan, or Switzerland!

EA are also offering a number of substantially discounted runner up places.

We would be grateful if you could let students in their final year of school know of this opportunity. We are looking for someone who would be a great ambassador for the snowsports industry, make a good instructor and who is passionate about skiing or snowboarding.

Premed Projects are offering an exciting project this October for your students that are looking to apply to university courses in either medicine, nursing or midwifery.

We are running a special 1-week programme in cities across the UK during the October half term holidays 2015 designed for current year 11 students who are looking to apply to healthcare related degrees and looking for much needed work experience and for current year 12 students who will have just submitted their personal statements and will be looking for some excellent experience to draw upon at interviews.

Students spend the half term week shadowing UK doctors, learning from them and gaining some unforgettable work experience they can use in their applications and interviews. Students don’t need to be from the cities we offer experience in as all students are met at the airport or train station and escorted to the Premed Projects house where they live during the week. Aside from the hospital experience and accommodation, students also have the benefit of Premed Project lectures during the week, med school tours, food and 24/7 support during their stay.

The specifics of our October programmes can be seen on the Premed Projects website:

As well as our October programmes we have opportunities available to students during February half term 2016 and summer holidays too across the UK so if your students can’t make the October programme there is sure to be something that can fit around their availability.

Students are free to contact us for more information or can book their place directly on the Premed Projects website.
