Careers @ SUA

We want our students to achieve academically but also enjoy fulfilling personal and working lives when they have left us. We aim to equip all learners with the knowledge and skills to navigate the choices and changes ahead.  We don’t believe in leaving crucial careers decisions to the last minute. At SUA we know that students who are interested in their futures and have early aspirations are well-motivated to reach their goals and generally perform better in class. It’s a win-win situation.  Careers education is delivered progressively in all year groups as part of our CHARACTER programme as well as being firmly embedded into all subject curriculum intent documents. This is underpinned by a Careers Education & Guidance Policy. For more information regarding careers at SUA contact, either, Miss A Archer (KS4 mentor and careers lead), Mrs J Bibby (Director of Humanities) or Mr Washbourne (Assistant Principal).
