A great first week back from the Easter break. It has been fantastic seeing everyone refreshed and ready for the challenges of this summer term.
I sent out a letter on Monday to keep everyone up to date with information about our academy improvement work. If you haven’t received a paper copy this is also posted on our website.
We hope to see lots of Year 7 and 8 families over the next two weeks at Parents’ Evening, an important opportunity to have valuable dialogue with class teachers about your progress.
Good luck to all students as they work towards the upcoming exams and a reminder to attend the additional period 6 lessons.
Staffordshire University Academy has a wide variety of subjects and opportunities for students to study and participate in. We have been students in the academy since Year 7 and have continued to enjoy studying here.
SUA6 gives students the opportunity to be independent and undertake more mature roles within the academy. For example many of our sixth form students support in lower school lessons; they also have external work experience placements. There are opportunities to become a student ambassador - a paid role within the academy. SUA6 offers a wide variety of BTEC and A-level qualifications, from product design to Spanish, there is a course that suits everybody.
We hope you enjoy visiting our academy website and finding out about all of the exciting and enjoyable activities that take place in SUA and SUA6.
