Outcome of the first monitoring visit from Ofsted – April 2018Following the recent visit by Her Majesty’s Inspector Simon Mosley and Ofsted inspector Mark Feldman, please see a copy of the report and letter to parents here: Please click here for a copy of the letter sent home to parents, and click here for a copy of the latest report.

As you know, SUA was recently inspected by Ofsted. We have shared our disappointment with students and parents but remind you of the journey we have been on over the last two years and of our absolute commitment to continue to rapidly improve.

We want to reassure you all again that we will continue to be relentless in driving standards forward.

Some of you will not recognise what is described in the report because your son / daughter is thriving at SUA. However, we need to emphasise that we accept that this judgement was made and following this outcome we are, more than ever, committed to further developing our working partnership with parents and families. The improvement process will be enhanced if you are able to contribute to the discussions and be kept up to date regularly with the progress being made.

We are very grateful for the support that our community has shown us since the publication of the report.
