Staffordshire University Academy are seeking to appoint an innovative, ambitious, enthusiastic and proactive Lead Practitioner of science across the academy to lead the development of teaching, learning, achievement and aspiration within mathematics up to KS5.

Teacher of humanities

Support Staff

Student Support Assistant - We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Student Support Assistant to join the academy Progress Centre.  We have access to high quality facilities and resources and work within a strong team structure that allows best practice to be shared. The successful candidate will join a team of friendly and supportive colleagues who want to achieve the very best outcomes for our students.

The successful candidate will work with small groups of students or on a one to one basis, to help them to achieve their potential and be successful both inside and outside school by providing support to overcome barriers to learning. Student Support Assistant Apprentice - Working as an apprentice Teaching Assistant you’ll provide support to teachers in preparing for lessons and helping create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all pupils. During lessons, you’ll work together with the class teacher to support pupils with classroom activities and help to manage behaviour.  Excellent communication and enthusiasm will be key in supporting all pupils to progress, achieve and overcome any problems. You will support all areas of the curriculum including literacy, numeracy and ICT within the classroom. You’ll also accompany teaching staff and pupils on trips and other out-of-school activities

 

We would welcome colleagues to apply to join SUA to teach or to become part of our very strong team of support staff. The staff here all really do care and are incredibly supportive of one another. I really enjoy my job, I love teaching and I love seeing students responding to some really great teaching and learning opportunities and activities each week.
